A high-performance, all-copper 350 Legend load that shoots flat and leaves heavy blood trails.
At 2,600 fps from a 22-inch barrel, this is one of the fastest, flattest-shooting 350 Legend loads you can run through a magazine-fed rifle. Loaded to standard length, our 140-grain all-copper 350 Legend ammo feeds from AR-15 and factory bolt-action magazines with no modifications. Every round carries our own precision-machined solid copper bullet: lead-free, machined in Michigan, built to drop whitetails fast.
That copper bullet expands down to 1,150 fps, opening a wide, controlled mushroom, then holding together and driving deep with nearly all its weight intact: reliable expansion, deep penetration, and the blood trails the 350 Legend is famous for lacking with ordinary factory lead ammo. The full 350 Legend ballistics and drop chart is below.

Savage & Henry owners, read this first: this 140-grain load is not for your rifle. Savage (Axis and Apex) and Henry rifles have lighter firing-pin strikes that can fail to ignite this ammo's primer, causing misfires. Use our 350 Legend S/H load instead, built specifically for Savage and Henry rifles.
All Copper. Zero Compromise. Machined in Michigan.
Each 140-grain bullet is CNC-turned from solid copper in our own shop and loaded in-house, with every load proven on game and at the range before it earns a spot in our lineup. No jacket to separate. No lead core to fragment. Just reliable expansion, controlled penetration, and the weight retention that puts deer down and leaves a blood trail you can follow.

Velocity, energy, and trajectory at a 160-yard zero for six barrel lengths. The 16-inch and 22-inch figures use our measured velocities; 14, 18, 20, and 24-inch are estimated at roughly 25 fps per inch. The bullet stays inside its 1,150 fps / 500 ft-lb expansion window out to roughly 250 yards, its practical range on deer. Standard conditions; real-world results vary with your rifle, barrel, and conditions.
Why Hunters Choose This 350 Legend Load
Explore the 350 Legend Lineup
Shooting a Ruger American? Ditch the AR-Style Magazine.
You do not need it for this load, it feeds your factory magazine just fine. But if that AR-15-style magazine hanging below your Ruger American has ever caught a strap, banged a blind rail, or dug into your hand on a long carry, the HV Mag System replaces it with a sleek, flush-fitting magazine built and tuned in our shop.
It also fits extended-length ammunition, so it opens up our flatter-shooting 350 Legend HV load in a rifle that could not run it before. Precision-tuned for reliable cycling from the first round to the last.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this 350 Legend ammo feed in my rifle or AR?
Yes. This is our standard-length load (COAL 2.260"), so it feeds through AR-15 platforms and all factory 350 Legend rifle magazines without modification. It runs great in the common factory rifles: Ruger American, Winchester XPR, Tikka, Bergara, Franchi, Mossberg Patriot, CVA Cascade, and more. One caveat that is not about feeding: Savage (Axis and Apex) and Henry rifles have lighter, less consistent firing-pin strikes that can fail to ignite the high-performance primer in this load, so we do not recommend it in those rifles. Use our S/H load instead. And if you shoot a single-shot and want the flattest trajectory, our 140gr HV load is built for that.
Why pick the 350 Legend for deer?
The 350 Legend is the lightest-recoiling and most affordable of the straight-walled cartridges, which makes it excellent for young or recoil-sensitive hunters and for whitetail out to a couple hundred yards. It is legal in the straight-wall states and easy to shoot well, which is most of its appeal. If you are weighing it against our other calibers, see the full comparison on our 350 Legend ammo page. What this all-copper load adds is the terminal performance the cartridge has always been missing.
How far will this 350 Legend load shoot, and what is the effective range?
Muzzle velocity is 2,600 fps from a 22-inch barrel. From a 160-yard zero, the 350 Legend ballistics chart above shows the bullet staying inside its 1,150 fps / 500 ft-lb expansion window out to roughly 250 yards, which is a realistic effective range on deer for most hunters. The 350 Legend is a medium-range deer cartridge, and this load makes the most of it with a flat trajectory and reliable expansion.
Is the 350 Legend good for deer, and what else can you hunt with it?
Yes, the 350 Legend is an excellent whitetail cartridge, and this 140-grain all-copper load is built for it: flat-shooting, hard-hitting, and known for the blood trails that ordinary factory ammo often fails to produce. The same load is very effective on hogs and black bear at sensible ranges. It is a medium-game cartridge rather than a big-game one, so it shines on deer, hogs, and bear.
Is this copper ammo legal in lead-free hunting zones?
Yes. Every round is lead-free, so it is legal anywhere non-lead ammunition is required, including on federal land. You get full 350 Legend performance with no lead.
Why choose a solid copper bullet over lead-core 350 Legend ammo?
A cup-and-core lead bullet can shed weight, fragment, or pencil straight through without opening, which is where the 350 Legend's blood-trail complaints come from. Our solid copper bullet retains nearly all of its weight, drives deep, and keeps expanding down to 1,150 fps, so it cuts a bigger wound channel and leaves no lead in the meat.

Very tight grouping
If you're debating between these or the Winchester copper impacts, get these! The Winchesters grouped at 3 or 4 MOA at 100yds, but these triple keyholed 3 shots at 100. Tight group at 200 also. I haven't hunted with them yet, but I have no doubt they'll be deadly. The Winchesters hole on paper wasn't perfectly round, which means the bullet wasn't stable, but these Bear Creeks had perfectly round bullet holes.

350 Legend 140gr using a Tikka Specter
First go with this ammunition in a new rifle and at 100 yards the holes were touching. I will absolutely be using this ammunition for deer hunting this season.

140 Gr Rn ammo
I've bought two boxes of this ammo and im very pleased with my results. Average velocity out of a 20 inch Ruger American gen 2 is 2440 fps and three shot groups are under one inch with both boxes. I was able to take 2 does between 60-75 yards and got full pass throughs. Damage to the internal organs is the best I've seen out of any 350 legend ammo.

350 Legend 140 grain copper Ammunition
Guys, I bought this ammo for my AR because with Winchester 180 ammo I have had to chase deer and they left no blood trail. Yesterday I went on a meat hunt before the storm . I took 4 deer and each one dropped in their tracks. I have not processed they yet, so I can't give you full post mortem damage. Your ammo delivered exactly what I was looking for and is worth every penny. You now have a dedicated customer and I am proud you guys are from Michigan! Thank You!

Great Ammo!
I purchased these for my AR after using multiple name brand ammo with little to no blood trail. My son harvested a buck this evening and this is the first time in 5 years we had an exceptional blood trail and the bullet passed thru. This is also the only ammo that will feed properly in the AR.
