With the recent changes in the regulations for deer hunting firearms in the Midwest, we are producing a custom 450 Bushmaster rifle package that is absolutely devastating on game. The custom ammunition developed together with these rifles will consistently give 3/4″ or smaller groups making this rifle 400 yard capable. The 240 grain HV all copper bullet leaves the muzzle generating over 3,400 ft-lbs of muzzle energy.

This premium rifle package includes everything you need for success in the field. Your custom rifle will come fully set up, sighted in with a box of our 240 grain HV 450 Bushmaster ammunition.

The Action

The Predator and TAC 30 actions include features absent in factory models, like a dependable extractor, enlarged extraction camming surface, and #8 screws for scope mounting. The one-piece, fluted bolt is hand-lapped for optimal performance, while the fluted firing pin ensures faster lock time and full support within the bolt body. Full length straight barrel fluting is available.

The Stock

The Remington Hunter is a beautifully designed stock with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece as well as a small palm swell. The uniquely designed fine line checkering adds to the “custom” look of this stock. This stock is patterned after the factory Sako 75 varmint and has been adapted specifically for Remington 700 actions. Other stocks are available upon request.

The Barrel

Douglas XX premium grade stainless; 1:16 twist; #5A contour. We have found a 23″ barrel to be the optimal length for the 450 Bushmaster cartridge. One of our custom muzzle brakes come with the rifle package and is fit to the barrel. If you do not want the threaded muzzle with muzzle brake, we can machine a target crown instead. Straight barrel fluting comes standard with the rifle package.

The Trigger

TriggerTech's Frictionless Release Technology™ provides a zero-creep break, minimal over-travel, and exceptional reliability in harsh environments. With CLKR Technology™, pull weight adjusts from 1.5–4.0 lbs in 1oz increments via an external screw. The crisp break feels 0.5 lbs lighter than friction-based triggers. Hardened 440C stainless steel components ensure corrosion resistance and long service life.

Muzzle Brake

We have engineered and manufactured our own radial style muzzle brake to help mitigate the recoil and muzzle rise of rifles chambered in 450 Bushmaster. Made from 416 stainless steel, 12 ports CNC machined at 90 degrees create maximum surface area to redirect the hot gases as the bullet leaves the muzzle.

Optics & Mounts

We build rifles with Leupold scopes using the CDS turret system, tuned to match ammunition drop. Customers can also provide their own scopes. We recommend Talley one-piece rings for their value and precision, carefully assembled and lapped for perfect alignment. This ensures reliable, accurate performance with any scope setup.

Performance

Capable of using our custom 240 grain HV and standard 450 Bushmaster ammo. .75 MOA accuracy guaranteed 400 yard capable Ballistic Trajectory with Bear Creek Ammunition 240 HV bullet (2,590 fps): +2″at 100 yards; -4″ at 200 yards; -14” of drop at 300 yards; ammunition will retain 1,000 ft-lbs of energy at 400 yards. Weight: 8-8.5 lbs.
